Wheat Lapsi – A Sweet Start with Mithas Wheat

Serves: 3–4

🍯 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Mithas Wheat Dalia (Broken Wheat)

  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • ΒΎ cup jaggery (or sugar, if preferred)

  • 2 Β½ cups water

  • Β½ tsp cardamom powder

  • 8–10 raisins

  • 6–8 chopped cashews and almonds

  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

1️⃣ In a heavy pan or kadhai, heat ghee and add the wheat dalia.
2️⃣ Roast on medium flame until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
3️⃣ In another pan, boil water and add roasted dalia to it.
4️⃣ Stir continuously to avoid lumps. Cover and cook till soft.
5️⃣ Add jaggery and let it dissolve completely.
6️⃣ Add cardamom powder, raisins, and chopped dry fruits.
7️⃣ Cook till mixture thickens and ghee starts separating from the sides.
8️⃣ Serve warm, garnished with nuts.
